World leaders were meeting on the much-hyped NATO summit and although the summit was supposed to discuss issues of global security, one of the moments of the summit has taken the internet completely by storm because of a totally different reason.

When presidents and prime ministers of 32 countries were standing in The Hague to take a formal group shot a lone color filled in the frame. Queen Maxima of the Netherlands was a dramatic stand out in the world of a lime green jumpsuit, so much so that she had become the surprise star of the summit.

People have been very fast to social media to applaud on how smart her outfit looks, with X Twitter users (formerly known as Twitter) in awe of her confidence in a crowd of black suits. One user said, Queening
Mxima is at it again doing what she does best and in rather lovely ensemble!” Another one stated, Queen Mxima of the Netherlands shines at the center of the group picture in the Hague during the NATO Summit. What a appearance!”

The Queen has a sense of style and even though the summit carried with it a lot of high stake diplomacy, one could not rule out her sense of style. One of the users joked, saying, What say we call her the Queen
of NATO, and another one wrote, Wow, in a lime-green caped jumpsuit, she looks gorge. Stunning.” Some others were just impressed by her grace and poise and one of them had noted that Queen Mxima is so beautiful.

To the uninitiated, Queen M axima is aged 54 and has been the wife of King Willem-Alexander since 2002. The two met during a party in Spain in 1999 and wedded after three years. The couple took over
the reign of the Netherlands when Queen Beatrix stepped down on April 30, 2013. They have three daughters Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange; Princess Alexia; and Princess Ariane.

Born in Argentina, Mxima has a long and well-established reputation of vibrant and active public appearance and excellent sense of fashion that combines tradition with a modern taste. Her presence at

the NATO Summit not only strengthened her popular image but also provided a piece of individuality to a purely protocol-based environment.
The NATO summit was held in the Netherlands this year and was its first time being hosted, the World Forum in The Hague played host to the high level discussions to the photo-ops as well. Hosting
remained in the hands of both Queen Mxima and King Willem-Alexander, and the guests were many dignitaries such as the U.S President Donald Trump, French president Emmanuel Macron, British prime minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Although this summit was full of serious discussions about geopolitical issues and military tactics, there were also lighter ones, improvised in style. During a discussion which was recording where Trump made
a comparison between Israel-Iran war to kids in a schoolyard, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte jokingly referred Trump to as daddy.

In a video posted by ITV News, Trump said, It looks to me as two kids in a school yard. They are hell-fighters-you never can halt them. Give them two or three minutes. Time enough to get used to fighting and after that, it is much easier to restrain them.
Rutte laughed saying, Daddy at times uses rude words.
Trump nodded and added, strong language. There is some word one must actually use now and then.”

On such serious topics as the global issues on the agenda of the summit, it is the fashion fusion of lightness and tact that has become a subject of conversation, and the lime-green dress of Queen Mxima at the summit would most poignantly be recalled even after the policy discussions have started becoming a thing of the past.
