It\u2019s never all that fun to notice things in our homes that don\u2019t seem to have an obvious explanation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but whenever I stumble upon a mark on the wall that wasn\u2019t there before, or detect the faintest hint of a strange smell, I immediately wonder if it\u2019s going to be something that gets worse and, ultimately, if it\u2019s going to cost me money to fix in the long run.<\/p>\n

Which is why I can sympathize with one internet user who reportedly grew concerned after finding that black dots were inexplicably appearing in her kitchen.<\/p>\n

Now, it should go without saying that strange marks or unexplainable discoveries in the kitchen of all places, can often cause alarm.<\/p>\n

After all, this is where food is prepped, and usually the one area of your house where you want to have full control of everything and anything that\u2019s going down.<\/p>\n

One homeowner, however, was at a loss as to the explanation behind a series of strange black dots she kept finding.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes anyone have any idea what these points might be?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she asked in the Facebook group \u2018WeLoveMrsHinch\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey first appeared on the kitchen tiles, then on top of the PC we keep in the kitchen this morning.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Thankfully there were other Facebook users who were able to give her a definitive reply, though the answers likely weren\u2019t ones she was hoping to receive.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook over it and you will probably find spider,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>someone wrote in her post\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt happens a lot this time of year, spiders pooing everywhere,<\/em>\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n

According to the\u00a0Pest Guidance\u00a0website, spiders \u201cdon\u2019t leave solid droppings; instead, their droppings are thick and liquid\u201d and resemble dark ink stains, often appearing on walls and surfaces.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir faeces look like splats or drips in the shades of black, brown, white or grey,\u201d the website reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe colour or type of faeces depends on the species, but in most of the cases, you can expect dark splats or drips.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese droppings are the combination of food and the other waste materials that are released from the spider\u2019s body.\u201d<\/p>\n
