{"id":13991,"date":"2025-03-13T19:30:32","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T19:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diigital.press\/?p=13991"},"modified":"2025-03-13T19:30:32","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T19:30:32","slug":"prayers-for-carol-burnett","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otrxio.com\/prayers-for-carol-burnett\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayers for Carol Burnett"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In recognition of Carol Burnett\u2019s 90th birthday, which occurred on April 26, 2024, NBC aired a special two-hour program titled \u201cCarol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of the time leading up to the event, Burnett participated in a number of interviews, one of which being an emotional one with *PEOPLE* in which she reflected on her late daughter, Carrie Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>In 2002, at the age of 38, Carrie, who was both an actress and a singer, went tragically due to cancer. Every day, Burnett carries her memories with her, and she makes a note of the advice that Carrie gave her: \u201cEvery day I wake up and decide.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1610785\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The play Hollywood Arms, which was based on Burnett\u2019s memoirs, was a product of the two of them working together.
