The two officially tied the knot in a\u00a0surprise Las Vegas ceremony\u00a0in July 2022. They celebrated the nuptials with a second, more extravagant\u00a0wedding in Georgia\u00a0the following month.<\/p>\n

At the tail end of that year, Lopez announced the forthcoming release of\u00a0This Is Me \u2026 Now<\/em>, which was heavily inspired by her renewed romance with Affleck. \u201cWhen he came back into my life, again the same thing happened, where I felt so inspired and so overtaken with emotion that it was just pouring out of me,\u201d she told Zane Lowe in an interview for Apple Music. \u201cWhen I feel good, I write music. And I wrote music, and I got in the studio in I think May, and by August when we got married, it was done.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it would be over 10 years before the two eventually\u00a0reconnected and started dating. \u201cI was having lunch somewhere and I saw him as he passed by.
