Top-rated cable news guy Tucker Carlson ripped into \u201cDr.\u201d Jill Biden on his Wednesday evening Fox News program.<\/p>\n
\u2018Contrary to what you may have read, Doctor Jill Biden is not a healer.<\/p>\n
She\u2019s not allowed to write prescriptions, she wouldn\u2019t know what to do with your appendix,\u2019 Carlson said in his monologue following a description of an emergency health scenario to emphasize the point.<\/p>\n
He went on to explain that Biden \u2018has an education degree from some school in Delaware, and you\u2019re supposed to find that highly impressive,\u2019 adding that he had read her dissertation and was now able to offer a \u201cdiagnosis.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018Dr. Jill needs reading glasses. Either that or she\u2019s borderline illiterate,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
\u2018There are typos everywhere, including in the first graph of the introduction,\u2019 Carlson continued. \u2018Dr. Jill can\u2019t write, she can\u2019t really think clearly either. Parts of the dissertation seem to be written in a foreign language using English words.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re essentially pure nonsense like pig Latin or dogs barking.\u2019<\/p>\n
While admitting that yeah, maybe his assessment could be considered \u201ccruel,\u201d he nevertheless provided a wave of examples proving his point.<\/p>\n
\u2018We\u2019ve got to be honest and tell you that not all of Jill Biden\u2019s dissertation is hallucinogenic fantasy,\u201d he said, noting sardonically that \u2018some of her claims seem real\u2019 and can be \u2018easily verified.\u2019<\/p>\n
But really, he found it all \u2018just incredibly embarrassing.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018And not simply to poor illiterate Jill Biden, but to the college that considered this crap scholarship. Embarrassing, in fact, to our entire system of higher education, to the nation itself. Jill Biden\u2019s doctoral dissertation is our national shame,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
Some will call his assessment \u201csexist\u201d \u2014 but Carlson brushed that aside.<\/p>\n
\u2018They\u2019re telling you that no one would ever call a man dumb Okay, well, that\u2019s wrong. We call Dr. Jill\u2019s husband dumb all the time,\u2019 he noted.<\/p>\n
\u2018In fact, we\u2019re going to go full feminist here and admit that Dr. Jill is a lot smarter than the man she married. Not that it\u2019s saying much. Joe Biden never wrote a dissertation, even on community colleges.<\/p>\n
The only thing Joe Biden has written recently are reminder notes to himself to wear matching socks,\u2019 Carlson joked.<\/p>\n
\u2018So it\u2019s not a sexism thing.<\/p>\n
What it is, actually, is a class thing. We have a class system in this country.<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s based on credentials like the ones Dr. Jill Biden has,\u2019 he said, adding that only certain Americans get more \u2018merit badges\u2019 in order to \u2018justify their power over you.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s a ridiculous system when you think about it and that\u2019s precisely why they don\u2019t want you to think about it,\u2019 Carlson concluded.<\/p>\n
\u2018If you\u2019re allowed to point out that Jill Biden isn\u2019t really a doctor, maybe not even very bright, then you\u2019re just one step away from noticing that the medals on their chests aren\u2019t real either. It\u2019s all totally fake just like the meritocracy that justifies their power.\u2019<\/p>\n
