Another day another famous American suddenly found dead.<\/p>\n
Perhaps I have read too many spy novels, but any time a former Secretary of Defense dies suddenly \u2026 while the United States is in the middle of a war with a nuclear power, it brings a lot of questions to people\u2019s minds.<\/p>\n
Now, I\u2019m not saying that there was fowl play involved here, however, deaths like these certainly deserve investigations. \u00a0And, of course, prayers for the victims and his loved ones \u2026<\/p>\n
The Gateway Pundit reported:<\/p>\n
Ash Carter, Secretary of Defense under Barack Obama died Monday night after suffering a \u201csudden cardiac event.\u201d<\/p>\n
He was 68.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with deep and profound sadness that the family of former Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter shares that Secretary Carter passed away Monday evening in Boston after a sudden cardiac event at the age of 68,\u201d his family said in a statement. \u201c[He] devoted his professional life to the national security of the United States and teaching students about international affairs. He was a beloved husband, father, mentor, and friend. His sudden loss will be felt by all who knew him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ash Carter served as Secretary of Defense from February 2015 to January 2017.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and his children, Ava and Will.<\/p>\n
