It looks like the democrats have a problem on their hands as one of their own, Virginia Democratic Rep. Donald McEachin died on Monday.<\/p>\n
He was 61 years old.<\/p>\n
He was found dead following a battle with colorectal cancer.<\/p>\n
The congressman\u2019s chief of staff released a statement Monday night announcing McEachin\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are all devastated at the passing of our boss and friend, Congressman Donald McEachin,\u201d Rountree wrote. \u201cValiantly, for years now, we have watched him fight and triumph over the secondary effects of his colorectal cancer from 2013.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cTonight, he lost that battle, and the people of Virginia\u2019s Fourth Congressional District lost a hero who always, always fought for them and put them first.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cUntil a new representative is elected, our office will remain open and continue to serve our constituents. The family asks for privacy at this time. Arrangements will be announced over the next few days.\u201d<\/p>\n
U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., released a statement Monday on McEachin\u2019s death:<\/p>\n
\n\u201cDonald and Colette McEachin have been wonderful friends to me and Lisa for more than thirty years.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\n\u201cWe often bonded over stories and laughs about our mutual challenges raising families with three strong-willed daughters,\u201d He said.<\/p>\n
\u201cUp until the very end, Don was a fighter.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEven though he battled cancer and faced other trials in recent years, he never lost his focus on social and environmental justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cTonight, Virginia has lost a great leader and I have lost a great friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Pelosi<\/h1>\n
Pelosi said he was a \u201ctireless champion for Virginia families and a force for economic opportunity and environmental justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be deeply missed by his colleagues, and he leaves behind a legacy that will improve the lives of all of our children for generations to come. May it be a comfort to his loving wife Colette, their dear children Mac, Briana and Alexandra, grandchild Gael and the entire McEachin family that so many join them in mourning during this sad time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hakeem Jeffries<\/h1>\n
Jefferies said that McEachin\u2019s \u201cpresence will be sorely missed in the Caucus, the Congress and the Commonwealth of Virginia.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom his time serving in both chambers of the Virginia legislature to his three terms in Congress, Don brought a servant\u2019s heart, fierce passion and beaming smile to everything that he did.\u201d<\/p>\n
So who will replace him?<\/h1>\n
I\u2019m sure the dems have their eyes on a far left America hating racist radical lunatic.<\/p>\n
