AOC is the poster girl for why we need civics IQ testing for any congressional candidate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This former bartender with an economics degree who loves socialism is a walking, talking enigma.<\/p>\n

Nothing in her life qualified her to be in Congress, yet there she is, hailing from the deepest of deep blue districts in New York, where she will be able to serve until she\u2019s old and gray if she wants.<\/p>\n

And she will never have to get one iota smarter.<\/p>\n

Feared for her life<\/h1>\n

Remember when she said that she feared being raped during the January 6 Capitol riot because \u201cwhite supremacy and patriarchy are very linked,\u201d and she believes that animated rioters.<\/p>\n

Ocasio-Cortez has previously stated that she feared for her life during the January 6 riot. She was in the Rayburn House Office Building on the Capitol campus, separated from the Capitol building by a road. Capitol Police instructed her and her staff to remain in their offices during the incident<\/p>\n

She also thinks that cows are causing climate change by farting!<\/p>\n

Trouble<\/h1>\n

It looks like AOC\u00a0is under a House ethics investigation, according to a statement issued by the House Committee on Ethics on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The panel will announce its course of action after its organizational meeting in the next Congress, sometime in 2023, the statement said.<\/p>\n

Details about what the investigation is looking into haven\u2019t been released. The Office of Congressional Ethics, a nonpartisan group, forwarded its inquiry into Ocasio-Cortez to the House ethics panel in June.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the press release:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pursuant to House Rule XI, clause 3(b)(8)(A), and Committee Rules 17A(b)(1)(A), 17A(c)(1), and 17A(j), the Acting Chairwoman and Acting Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics have jointly decided to extend the matter regarding Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which was transmitted to the Committee by the Office of Congressional Ethics on June 23, 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Committee notes that the mere fact of a referral or an extension, and the mandatory disclosure of such an extension and the name of the subject of the matter, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the Committee.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Committee will announce its course of action in this matter following its organizational meeting and adoption of Committee Rules in the 118th Congress.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the past AOC has been under the gun for failing to pay the taxes on her failed business ventures.<\/p>\n

A reporter for the Washington Examiner suggested AOC may be under investigation for accepting an \u201cimpermissible gift\u201d to attend the Met Gala.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpecifically we believe Representative Ocasio-Cortez has violated clause 5 of Rule XXV of the Rules of the House of Representatives (commonly known as the Gift Rule) by accepting admission to the Met Gala, an event whose per seat costs is reported to range from $35,000 to $50,000 without having a permissible exemption to allow the acceptance of the lavish gift,\u201d the American Accountability Foundation wrote last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Representative Ocasio-Cortez has used campaign funds to pay for this ticket, she has also violated FEC prohibitions on campaign funds being used for entertainment purposes,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

The congresswoman has been the subject of scrutiny since coming into office. Last year, she was hit with an ethics complaint over her attendance at the Met Gala in New York. It was alleged that she broke House rules by accepting free tickets to the event, which brings out celebrities and public figures each year.<\/p>\n

Two separate ethics complaints were filed against Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for her appearance at the $30,000 per ticket Met Gala.<\/p>\n

In September 2021, the National Legal and Policy Center joined the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) in filing an ethics complaint for her acceptance of the tickets and the lavish gifts that come along with it.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the charity that receives the proceeds of the Met Gala, told the Caller that AOC was a \u201cguest of the museum.\u201d<\/p>\n

On top of all that, Ocasio-Cortez also accepted a ticket for her boyfriend, Riley Roberts. According to House Gift Rules, lawmakers are only allowed to provide a second ticket to a charity fundraiser to a spouse or dependent child.<\/p>\n

\u201cThus, because her boyfriend is not her \u2018spouse or dependent,\u2019 her acceptance of an \u2018invite plus one\u2019 to the Met Gala would violate the Gift Rule unless AOC or her boyfriend paid for his $35,000 ticket, an unlikely scenario,\u201d the NLPC\u2019s complaint states.<\/p>\n

Even the designer \u201cTax the Rich\u201d mermaid gown that AOC wore might have violated the ethics rules. NLPC\u2019s complaint argues that Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s use of a custom \u201ctax the rich\u201d dress, even if borrowed as she claims, violates the gift rules because the designer used \u201cvaluable professional services in designing and making this one-of-a-kind dress.\u201d<\/p>\n

So AOC is in trouble.<\/p>\n

Personally I\u2019d prefer to see charges filed against CHINA JOE but I\u2019ll take what I can get.<\/p>\n
