The attacks against FOX NEWS host Tucker Carlson are getting out of control.<\/p>\n
Carlson slammed former Fox News colleague Carl Cameron for recent comments saying Tucker should be be jailed or \u2018end up in something worse,\u2019 for his show\u2019s content.<\/p>\n
Apparently the former reporter said Tucker should \u2018\u201cMaybe wind up in jail or maybe something worse\u201d over the weekend to CNN\u2019s Jim Acosta, which criticized the host for spreading false and potentially harmful material.<\/p>\n

\u2018What\u2019s \u201csomething worse?\u201d\u2018 Carlson, 53, asked his audience, after airing a clip of the remarks from former reporter Cameron, which the host told his audience to take as a threat.<\/p>\n
\u2018We\u2019re not sure what \u201csomething worse\u201d is \u2013 but it certainly feels like we\u2019re moving toward it at a very high speed at this point,\u2019 Carlson seemed to warn, before ominously adding, \u2018That\u2019s the end point to talk like that \u2013 \u201csomething worse.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n
Carlson \u2013 who has come under fire for comments that leftist critics say support \u2018The Great Replacement theory, a racist ideology that allegedly inspired the accused Buffalo mass shooter and New Zealand Mosque killer \u2013 went on to criticize the left for trying to push a narrative that he is racist.<\/p>\n
\u2018Rhetoric has it\u2019s own internal logic,\u2019 Carlson, on of the network\u2019s most prominent voices, said. \u2018We\u2019ve experienced it \u2013 we can talk ourselves into things. We\u2019ve all done that.\u2019<\/p>\n
He continued: \u2018Democrats are doing it right now. And what they\u2019re talking themselves into right now, is, quote, \u201csomething worse.\u201d It\u2019s scary.\u2019<\/p>\n
The host then offered what appeared to be a grim warning to his progressive critics.<\/p>\n
\u2018It is time to pull back, it is time to deescalate \u2013 otherwise this is going to get really ugly, really soon.\u2019<\/p>\n
USA Features\u00a0reports that the former Fox Newser compared remarks about certain issues Carlson makes on his shows akin to yelling \u2018fire\u2019 in a crowded movie theater.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fact of the matter is, if you disturb the peace by starting a riot in a movie theater, cops are going to arrest you and you might end up in jail or you might end up in something worse,\u201d Cameron said.<\/p>\n
Carlson has come under fire in the aftermath of the mass shooting in Buffalo, in which a young white male appeared to target mostly black patrons, killing 10 of them before surrendering to police.<\/p>\n
The popular Fox News host is being blamed because he has accused Democrats in the past of wanting to \u2018import\u2019 third-world poor to replace American citizens who don\u2019t vote for them and change the demographic landscape, what critics have called a \u201cGreat Replacement Theory.\u201d<\/p>\n
The shooter was apparently a subscriber to that theory, though he also expressed a disdain for Fox News.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe president has to be more forceful and sooner or later the law enforcement and the US government is going to have to stop the lying because it\u2019s causing people\u2019s deaths,\u201d Cameron told Acosta.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not just Fox, it\u2019s social media in general. It\u2019s on the internet. And we have to remember that a good portion of what we read is coming from folks who aren\u2019t Americans, pretending to be Americans in order to gaslight them even worse,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On Monday, Cameron, who blames Fox News and conservative media for the Buffalo shooting, called for government intervention to take Carlson off the air, comparing his broadcasts to the trope of falsely shouting fire in a crowded theater.<\/p>\n
