But the two seemed to come to an agreement on the dangers of the growing wokeism among Democrats. Maher was adamant liberalism is not the same as leftism. The Democrat Party has become much more leftist in its agenda, using \u201cwoke\u201d views to promote socialism. And some liberals, including Maher, have become the black sheep of the party for calling this out.<\/p>\n
He won\u2019t find much disagreement among conservatives, despite his loathing of them. Many Republicans and conservative Americans have long commented on Democrats\u2019 slide into Marxist \u201cwokeism.\u201d The party might not agree, but when you have a diehard liberal like Maher agreeing with conservatives, things are getting pretty bad for Democrats.<\/p>\n
